I'm Abdus-Salaam, a revert from NYC, and i'm currently studying Islam in Makkah al-Mukarramah at Umm al-Quraa University (major in Shari'ah). I've lived in Makkah for around 7 years, and now I'd like to give you a glimpse of what it's like to travel and seek knowledge across KSA. The great scholars of the past would document their travels and entitled their writings as "Rihlah to X land." The intent behind this was to recount their experiences & also encourage others to strive in learning about & conveying Allah's Deen. I hope this tiny effort will inspire you in your pursuit in drawing closer to Allah. I ask Allah to grant us all sincerity, diligence, high ambitions, and to gather all of us in Al-Firdous al-'Ala (the highest abode in Paradise) whilst looking at His Face, aameen.
