    @AshuraTheHedgehogDX3 years ago Want to keep the shadow on a transparent layer?
    Do these same steps, but keep the fully white background around the shadow and place a white fill layer underneath the shadow layer. You want the whole image to be white with the exception if the shadow.
    Select all and copy merged.
    Create a new black fill layer, open the layer mask and paste from clipboard.
    Invert the mask. You should now have just the shadow on a new layer and can tweak its layer mask using levels to strengthen the shadow or lighten it, decreasing the opacity also works to make it less intense.

    Don't write done is better than perfact, sometimes perfect is necessary instead of done.
