After seeing my sis make fish curry with Silam/Perilla Seeds, I just had to give it a try and I must say, this is the most delicious Nepalese Fish Curry I have ever had 🙏🏼🙌🏼 Ingredients you will need: 🍃 For frying the fish 🍃 About 1.5kg fish of choice 2 tsp turmeric 2 tsp salt Juice from half a lemon 🍋 🍃 For Fish Jhol (Fish Soup) 🍃 1/2 tsp fenugreek seeds 1/2 tsp mustard seeds 3 medium onions 3 large ripe tomatoes 5 large cloves of garlic Equal portion of ginger as garlic 2 chillies (Ginger + Garlic + Chillies to be grounded together) 3/4 cup silam/perilla seeds to be dry roasted for about 2 minutes and ground to powder 2 tsp salt Fresh coriander (for garnishing) 🍃 Masalas 🍃 2 tsp ground cumin 2 tsp ground coriander 1/2 tsp turmeric 1/4 tsp chilli powder Follow me on Instagram for more ☺️ #nepalesefishcurry #fishcurry #silam #perilla #curry
