@J.A.Hansen8 months ago This doku is like a timemaschine...In 1985 I saw my first Springsteen Show and I 1987 was a hard core Springsteen Fan...This energy around that time super natural, maybe it was the time, the music, and the spirit of revolution hangin in the air....Looking back now, watching our time today, brings me down□There is nothing left over of the old spirit.Rock And Is A burned out car, lyin by the highway side..There are a lot of storys out there, but the laughter are not the same anymore...Glory Day pass me by 1000% Cheers up to the goood old days, which will never return again□ ... 2

@John-sg5unlast year I've been listening to Bruce ever since Greetings from Asbury Park. All I can say is thank you & the ESB, etc, because nobody's music has touched my soul like the person from Freehold NJ.
There's many others I listen too as well but Bruce has always held a special place in my heart.

@jamiecunningham15657 years ago My parent 'types ' taped this on VHS when I must have been 9 years old!! It was the first time I realised that Bruce was a normal guy who spoke normal conversations!! Instead of some Super Hero Rock Star!!🌟🌟✨⚡️
It's interesting now but back then alls I wanted was Born in the U.S.A. Now, that's one of my least favourite songs, Jonny 99, 10th Avenue, Streets of Fire......live.... light me up now. How times change!

@marge2017 years ago I totally adored this documentary. Wish I could see how it ended. (It cut off abruptly.) The interviews with the band were great. The music was superb. Just extraordinary. 19

@ZeusHoney10 years ago It is lovely to see Bruce and the band in retrospect. Their views and their thoughts on E Street's formation and music. They all look so young and fresh in the documentary, an indication of how the years have flown by. It's also nice to see Danny and Clarence again. They'll be missed. Thanks for uploading this. :)    ... 42

@baldeepdogra17389 years ago Thanks for posting this. This Arena programme was shown first on the BBC in early 1986 and left me mesmerised. After this I was hooked on the Boss and his story, and he's been there with me ever since. :) 20

@whataboutrob44210 months ago I didn't catch on until I was in my 30s, but I eventually did get it. I was raised on his 75-78-80 and 82 albums. Born in the USA was not a favorite of mine in high school, and probably did the most damage to his image. But now I like most of the album. ...

@chriscross56177 years ago Does Danny Federicci really look like a long-time member of the worlds greatest rock band?!!! I'd peg him as the comfortably successful owner of a kitchen & bathroom warehouse!
But then the band is a mix of the iconic rock-stars (Stevie, Nils Lofgren, Gary Tallent) & the quietly brilliant support (Max, Danny & the Professor) plus of course the late, great Clarence (coolest man on the planet) Clemens.

@presidentnixonsanus10 years ago the date is August 7 of 1978, The AZ Vets Coliseum (locals knew it then as the Six Points Pringle) in Phoenix.
Holy shit it must have been an oven in that building, A/C was not what it is now and beck then that building was a sauna until October. Hopefully there was some monsoon activity around that time.

@shanejones79063 years ago That redhead was hot back then. I think she was better looking than his first wife. Not a fan but very intrigued with pre internet pop culture... @dondamon46693 years ago It’s a shame he never went through a raging rowdy angry drunken drug fuelled phase! You need that to be seen as one of the legendary rock stars without it he’ll always be seen as down to earth Bruce! Love the music though. Only just been getting into him after knowing of him whole life just never thought of listening to his albums and up tunnel of love there some of the best rock albums ever. ... 1

@LeahysLads3 months ago I must admit, I have never been a Springsteen devotee basically because I really don’t like his singing voice. It’as simple as that. I do however respect his song writing style. He is a unique wordsmith.
